Born in Berat, Albania in 1953, Kujtim Qama engulfed his ancient, mountainous city for artistic inspiration. Overlooking the city is a symbolic castle, which to the people, historically evokes their love of the land.

Inspired by his love of his homeland, Qama pays tribute to its myths and legends. His country proudly portrays his bronze and marble sculptures. In fact, Albania contracted him to create the currency for his country.
